At Dubai Visa South Africa (Pty) Ltd we strive to provide a smooth and efficient visa application process. We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly, and we want to ensure that you are fully informed about our cancellation policy.

A visa is valid for 60 days from issue date and can be used until the visa expiry date. The 30 day visa duration only begins from the first entry date within that 60 days.

Unfortunately a visa is not a travel product. It’s a government service. We pay for the submission of the application to the government to process the application and not for the visa itself. This is the reason we pay before a visa is approved or rejected and we pay regardless of the outcome.

During crisis periods such as Covid 19 and war, UAE immigration did not refund under any circumstances because they maintained that they had fulfilled the visa administration fee of processing the application.

Please take a moment to review the following terms regarding the cancellation of your Dubai visa application.

1. Cancellation Before Visa Application Submission

If you decide to cancel your Dubai visa application before we submit your documents to the UAE authorities, you may be eligible for a full refund, minus any administrative fees.

  • Refund Amount: 100% of the service fee will be refunded.
  • How to Cancel: Simply contact our customer support team via email or phone within 60 minutes of submitting your request. Once we receive your cancellation request, we will process the refund promptly only if we did not submit the application.
2. Cancellation After Visa Application Submission

Once your visa application has been submitted to the UAE authorities, cancellations cannot be processed, as the visa application is already in progress or has been forwarded to the relevant government department.

  • No Refund: In this case, no refunds will be provided, as the visa application has been initiated, and the processing fees are non-refundable.
  • Visa Denial: If your visa application is denied after submission, we can assist with reapplying (if applicable) but no refunds will be issued for the original application fee.
3. Cancellation After Visa Approval

Once your Dubai visa has been approved and issued, it is no longer possible to cancel or refund the application. At this stage, the visa is considered a valid travel document, and cancellation is not permitted under any circumstances.

  • No Refund: After visa approval, all fees paid are non-refundable.
  • Visa Validity: Please ensure that all travel plans are confirmed before applying for your visa to avoid any inconvenience.
4. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations, nor shall any cancellation or refund liability arise, where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).

5. How to Cancel or Request a Refund when application has not yet been submitted

If you are eligible for a cancellation or refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer support team at info@dubaivisasouthafrica.co.za with your cancellation request.
  2. Provide Details: Include your full name, application reference number, and any relevant details about your cancellation request.
  3. Refund Processing: If applicable, we will process your refund within two business days once your cancellation has been confirmed.
6. Non-Refundable Fees

Please note that fees, such as government processing charges, are non-refundable once they have been paid to the UAE authorities. These charges are outside of our control, and we cannot offer a refund on such payments.
