NEW IMMIGRATION SYSTEM PHOTO REQUIREMENTS VERY STRICT - EXPECT DELAYS

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read carefully before using our services

Thank you for visiting our website. Every person engaging in a transaction with Dubai Visa South Africa (Pty) Ltd ("DVSA", "we", "us") is deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting an application.

1. Government Authority

Issuance and approval of a visa is solely regulated by the Government of the UAE and governed by their rules and regulations, which are amended from time to time. DVSA is an independent visa processing facilitator — we have no control or influence over the outcome of any application.

2. Applicant Responsibility

It is your responsibility to double-check that all passport details on your visa are 100% accurate. Your application is also subject to the rules and regulations of the country of which you hold citizenship.

3. Photo Requirements

Due to much stricter photo requirements from immigration, in certain cases we may have to use AI to enhance photos so they are accepted on the system. Due to high volumes, human errors do occur — it takes 12 hours for a correction, so you would not be able to board your flight or enter the country in that time. We cannot be held liable for any issues, so please review your submitted photo carefully.

4. Processing Timeline

The time a visa takes to be approved is solely controlled by the Government of the UAE and we have no influence over it. We only state the average time our applications take to get approved, which is 5 business days, but this can differ on each application up to 2 weeks.

5. Overstay & Visa Penalties

Overstaying your visa is a criminal offense in the UAE. A fine of AED 50 per day applies for every day overstayed, plus an AED 3,200 fine for absconding or overstaying beyond 5 days. You could be arrested in the UAE and blacklisted from entering again. Applicants are solely responsible for exiting the UAE before their visa expires.

6. Scope of Our Service

Our role is limited to accepting the visa application and required documentation, forwarding the application to the Government of the UAE for consideration of a visa, and communicating the Government of the UAE's decision to you. We do not issue visas ourselves and cannot expedite or guarantee government processing.

7. No Modifications to Existing Visas

If a visa has been issued based on the dates on your initial application and there are subsequent changes to your flight, your plans, or any other details, we are unable to make any changes to an existing visa. Any required changes will therefore require another complete new visa application, or will incur additional cost if changes are possible.

8. Application Reliability & Liability

We do not accept any responsibility for late, lost, or misplaced applications, or the reliability of the contents of the application. Incomplete applications will be disregarded at our discretion. It is a criminal offence to submit incorrect and untrue information on the visa application forms — UAE immigration does not take this lightly. We email in good faith and do not assume any responsibility or liability for emails that have not reached us or you in time; it is in your own interest to apply as soon as possible and follow up within a reasonable time.

9. Rejection Policy

In case of rejection of a visa application, we will communicate the government of the UAE's decision to the applicant, but besides that no correspondence will be entertained and no visa fees will be refunded (unless specifically stated, see our Cancellation Policy). Applications may be rejected if you have a criminal record, have been deported, or for any other reason determined solely by the UAE immigration office — we have no control over such decisions.

10. Disclosure Requirements

If you have been refused a visa before, please let us know in advance, when and why, so that we know how to handle the application. Similarly, we need to know if you had a previous residence visa that was not properly cancelled, or another visa such as a tourist visa that may still be valid. If you have applied elsewhere for a UAE visa, or have a criminal record, or have an un-cancelled residence visa and do not disclose that to us, your application will automatically be declined due to conflict — there will be no refunds in such a case, and our money-back guarantee will not apply.

11. Visa Extensions & Overstay Consequences

If you need to extend your visa, all possible extensions must be done via our office. Visas are non-transferable; visa validity may be extended by 30 days at an additional cost. If you stay longer than you are entitled to and fail to exit, you will first lose your security deposit (if any) and face the full consequences of UAE law — the UAE government does not hesitate to issue a warrant of arrest for any immigration law violation. We shall not be liable for any losses or damages the applicant may suffer arising from a delay in processing or receiving the visa.

12. Children Applicants

Children cannot apply for a visa without at least 1 accompanying parent.

13. Payment & Processing Conditions

Visa applications will only be processed once we have the fees reflected in our account and once all documentation is received, fully completed, and signed. We will not be responsible for incomplete applications. No visas will be applied for until all documents are received and payment reflects in our bank account — we reserve the right to deviate from this policy at our discretion and under special circumstances.

14. Exit Requirements

It is an explicit requirement that you enter and exit the UAE with the same passport that was used to apply for the visa, or additional charges will be incurred. If the authorities at the UAE airport erroneously do not update the computers with your departure details and we have to intervene to rectify the situation, there will be an additional fee for this service.

15. Deposit Forfeiture

Any violation of UAE immigration laws, or the supplying of incorrect and misleading information, will make you forfeit your deposit.

16. Document Retention

You will need to keep copies of your air ticket and boarding passes for a period of 90 days after travel.

17. Pricing

Prices are subject to currency fluctuations and may change without notice. Prices cannot be guaranteed until we have received all documents and full payment.

18. Governing Law & Changes to These Terms

These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the private company laws of South Africa. Any claims or disputes arising in relation to our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of South Africa. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice.

19. Business Hours

Our business operating days and hours are Mondays to Saturdays, 07h00 to 19h00, unless stated otherwise. We may be closed on certain UAE public holidays.

20. Cancellations & Our Discretion

We cannot and do not guarantee if or when a visa will be issued — UAE immigration alone decides this, unless the visa was specifically guaranteed and you have met all terms and conditions. Once a visa application has been submitted or a visa is approved, it cannot be cancelled; where cancellation is possible, a special charge will apply (see our Cancellation Policy). We reserve the right to accept or deny processing of any visa, with or without a guarantee, and may request additional documents (such as old passports or proof of funds) if instructed by UAE immigration.
