When should I apply for a Dubai tourist visa?
Minimum of 7 working days and a maximum of 50 working days. There is an express option available if required in less time than 7 working days. We recommend applying 30 days prior to arrival in UAE. This will give you enough room for any changes you may require as the visa is only valid for 58 days once issued.
What is the processing time to issue a Dubai visa?
The normal processing time UAE immigration takes to approve a visa is within 5-7 working days (Average 5 days). The express processing time is about 1-4 working days (Average 2 days).

How will the Dubai visa be delivered to me?
Once your Dubai visa online application has been processed and approved, we will then send your visa in pdf format to your email address. You then simply print it out for ease of use and keep a copy digitally on your phone.
Am I compelled to book flights and accommodation with your company in order to obtain a Dubai visa?
Yes. UAE immigration requires you to book your flights and accommodation before applying for your visa.
Would any issues arise in the Dubai Visa Application process if spouses do not share a surname?
No, this will not affect your application in any way, however people with changed names or surnames may be asked for old passports
Can the entry/exit be from any airport in the UAE?
Yes, you may enter/exit from any airport within the UAE.
My passport is expiring soon, can I still obtain a Dubai visa?
Your passport has to be valid for at least six months on date of exiting UAE in order to be issued with a Visa.
Will my Dubai visa fee be refunded if my application is rejected?
If the Dubai visa application is rejected no fees will be refunded unless it is covered by and meets the terms and conditions.
Can a minor (below 18 years) apply for a visa without a parent?
No, a minor cannot apply for a UAE tourist visa or travel unaccompanied to the UAE. A child visa application must be linked to a parent visa application. Parents holding residence visa needs to apply for their child under their own sponsorship.
Are the costs for children’s visas the same as the adult visa cost?
The Dubai visa application cost is different for children and adults.
Do I need to submit my original passport
No, this is an online e-visa service. You simply scan the first page of your passport that has the photo and other details and provide using the file upload in the application form.
What is the fastest way to obtain an online Dubai visa?
The fastest way to obtain a Dubai visa online is by applying for an express tourist visa.
Is there a minimum bank balance required for travel to Dubai?
There is no set amount and you do not have to provide your bank balance for a tourist visa.
I will be travelling on cruise after arriving in the UAE, which visa do i require?
You will require a multiple entry tourist visa when travelling on any cruise in the UAE.
What happens if you overstay your UAE visa duration?
You may be liable for a fine for absconding which starts at AED 50 for everyday you overstay and AED3200 for more than 5 days. It is a criminal offense and you could be arrested by police if not clearly communicated by your agent. You could also be blacklisted from entering the UAE again if you did not pay the overstaying fine.
What are the reasons a visa could be rejected?
Incorrect documentation, criminal record, previously overstayed visa, existing visa application, an active visa are all possible reasons a visa application may be rejected.
How long prior to departure from my country will I receive the Dubai visa?
Generally, we email the UAE tourist visa to you within 5 business days after receiving application. However if an application has issues this could take longer to resolve with UAE immigration.
Am I able to enter other emirates e.g. Abu Dhabi with this visa?
Yes, this UAE visa enables you to visit any of the seven emirates that comprise the UAE. Namely Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Sharjah, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain.
If my Dubai visa application is rejected, am I able to re-apply?
Yes, you can apply for a Dubai visa again if your first application was rejected. However, unless your circumstances change, further Dubai visa applications are likely to be rejected as well.
How early can I apply for a Dubai tourist visa?
You can apply for a Dubai visa a maximum of 58 days before you travel, and a minimum of 48 working hours before you travel.
Is it necessary to forward passport photos with my application?
Yes, this is required for UAE immigration, please scan in your passport size photo and upload it in the file uploads section of the online application form. You may take a photo with your smartphone, ensuring the photo has a plain, white background.
Do I need to provide flight booking confirmation?
Yes, as of 2025, this has become compulsory. Flight confirmation proof will need to be uploaded in the file upload section of the online application form.

How much does a 7 day Dubai visa cost?
A 30 Day single entry visa is R1850 for adults and R1000 for children.
What documents are required for travel to Dubai?
We require a copy of your passport, photograph, hotel and flight confirmations.
Is it possible to extend my UAE (Dubai) visa?
Yes, your UAE (Dubai) tourist visa can be extended twice for 30 days each time and can be done from within the country.
What is a Dubai Golden visa?
The Dubai golden visa offers long term residency visas. The new system was introduced in 2019 that enables foreign nationals to live, work and study in Dubai without the need of a national sponsor and with 100% ownership of their business. The golden visas are issued for 5 or 10 years and renewed automatically. We unfortunately do not issue these visas.
Can a person from any country apply with your company?
No, We specialize only in Southern African countries specifically Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe
How much are the fines for overstaying a UAE tourist visa?
A daily fine of AED 50 is charged for each day of overstay, payable at airport immigration. This excludes an AED 300 exit pass, which is also required to leave the country. There is no grace period before the overstay fine begins. Additionally, if the overstay exceeds 5 days, a separate AED 3,200 absconding fine may be imposed by the sponsor. If you overstay for any reason, it is advisable to contact your sponsor to pay the fine on your behalf, which may help you avoid the additional exit pass fee.
