When should I apply for a Dubai tourist visa?

Minimum of 7 working days and a maximum of 50 working days. There is an express option available if required in less time than 7 working days. We recommend applying 30 days prior to arrival in UAE. This will give you enough room for any changes you may require as the visa is only valid for 58 days once issued.

The normal processing time UAE immigration takes to approve a visa is within 5-7 working days (Average 5 days). The express processing time is about 1-4 working days (Average 2 days).

Yes, your UAE (Dubai) tourist visa can be extended twice for 30 days each time and can be done from within the country. 

The Dubai golden visa offers long term residency visas. The new system was introduced in 2019 that enables foreign nationals to live, work and study in Dubai without the need of a national sponsor and with 100% ownership of their business. The golden visas are issued for 5 or 10 years and renewed automatically. We unfortunately do not issue these visas.

A daily fine of AED 50 is charged for each day of overstay, payable at airport immigration. This excludes an AED 300 exit pass, which is also required to leave the country. There is no grace period before the overstay fine begins. Additionally, if the overstay exceeds 5 days, a separate AED 3,200 absconding fine may be imposed by the sponsor. If you overstay for any reason, it is advisable to contact your sponsor to pay the fine on your behalf, which may help you avoid the additional exit pass fee.
